Pherari Mon
This is the story of Tulsi, a simple middle class girl, and her fights against the discrimination faced by her because of her gender, even by her own father. Tulsi is strong and independent. At college she meets Agni, who belongs to a rich political family that owns the college. This previlege and wealth makes him outright arrogant. However, Tulsi protests Agni’s arrogance and this becomes a cause of worry for Agni. He holds a grudge against Tulsi and assassinates her character. This breaks her prospective marriage and her father throws her out of the house. To save her self-respect, Tulsi ties a Mangal sutra herself, walks into Agni’s house and claims to be his wife. She is determined to make him apologize for his mistake. Tulsi is also a threat to Parama, Agni’s power-hungry stepmom, who has spoilt him. Will she be able to get through the trials of life to achieve a good husband and a home?
