When Shiv asked Sati not to attend Daksha’s yagna, Sati insisted. When that did not work, Sati showed Mahadev, her 10 different forms. Finally, awed by Sati’s 10 divine forms, Shiv gave her permission. However, Sati was insulted and hurt by her own father Daksha. This eventually led to the famous “sati-daha” and Shiv tandav. From Sati to Mahisasur Mardini Maa Durga, the story completes the whole divine life journey of the Goddess.

The show tells the timeless story of how Maa Durga comes into being and saves the Gods and mankind from the evil of Mahisasur.
